What is the programme

You help students find opportunities they'd never have heard of otherwise.

As a Global Student Ambassador, you help promote elite student events and competitions — including Harvard Crimson Global Essay Competition, Harvard Crimson Case Competition, the LSE Generate Global Innovation Challenge, and the High School Academic Research Competition (SARC) — to your school, your friends, and your wider community.

It's informal, flexible, and built around the time you already have. No quotas, no scripts — just genuine recommendations backed by materials we provide.

Your role, in practice

Set aside 1–2 hours a week to discuss, share, and promote our competitions with your peers. We give you the materials and strategy — every sign-up made with your personal code builds credit toward consulting advice and vouchers.

What you get

The more sign-ups you bring in, the more you benefit.

01

Crimson credit & credit vouchers

Earn $5 USD in credit for every registration you bring in. Once you've built up $100 (20 registrations), cash it out as a credit voucher — or exchange it for an hour of 1:1 mentoring on university applications, essays, extracurriculars, and interview prep.

Sign-ups carry over from one competition to the next, so nothing you earn is wasted.
02

Webinars and workshops

Free access to webinars covering US/UK admissions, essay writing, and debate and public speaking skills. Got a topic you want covered? Suggest it and we'll look into arranging it.

03

Internship opportunities

Top Ambassadors get the chance to intern directly with our competitions and projects — including Yale Model United Nations in Dubai, Singapore, and Latin America.

04

Ambassador certificate

Bring in at least 3 sign-ups for a competition and receive an official Ambassador certificate — a credible addition to your college and scholarship applications.

05

A global network

Get access to an online community of like-minded, highly accomplished peers from around the world.

Extra bonuses

Bonus credits every week.

In their words

What Ambassadors say about the experience.

Being an Ambassador has been an incredible experience because it's been such a privilege to bring awareness of such unique and prestigious competitions to students from all over the world, especially here in Australia, where there aren't many global competitions or events!

Aadhya K. · Australia

The experience has been insightful not just for me but also for students to whom I've promoted the competition as well. When I was in high school, I wanted the opportunities that Crimson Education offers to students, which weren't provided in my school at that time, but when I became an Ambassador, knowing that I could help students in my school and globally by sharing these opportunities made me very content. This is what my high-school self would've wanted, and now I want to do it for other high schoolers out there too.

Hafsa I. · Pakistan

Becoming an Ambassador is one of the best decisions I have made in my high school years, as not only have I gained the ability to maintain responsibility but also to engage with like-minded people from all over the world. It's unlocked so many new opportunities for me outside of school and is amazing to have on a personal statement.

Manyata S. · UK

Being an Ambassador has been one of the most rewarding experiences of my journey so far. It gave me the opportunity to connect with passionate and talented students from different backgrounds while developing my leadership, communication, and teamwork skills. What I enjoyed most was being able to represent something I genuinely believe in and encourage others to become part of the community.

Soubhagyaa · India

Two months in, the conversations I've had with high school students have really inspired me. Seeing their faces light up when they realize they can actually compete — not just on a national stage but on a global one — has been so rewarding. These are competitions they'd been craving but thought they were out of reach.

Neville M. · Kenya

Being an Ambassador has been a rewarding experience where I developed communication, leadership, and teamwork skills. I enjoyed representing the community, meeting new people, and taking part in meaningful activities. Overall, it helped me grow in confidence and step outside my comfort zone.

Tasneem M. K. · Bangladesh

About 8-9 months ago, I was researching essay competitions and discovered the Global Ambassador program. My English wasn't very strong, but I thought, "I have nothing to lose," and decided to register. Once I was officially part of the team, I began promoting our competition, and I earned my Ambassador certificate and credits. It significantly improved my self-confidence — I introduced the competition to every single one of my classmates, and I also made new friendships along the way.

Şeyma A. · Turkey

Being an Ambassador for LGIC has been a transformative experience that profoundly elevated my writing skills. The program pushed me out of my comfort zone, requiring me to articulate complex ideas clearly and persuasively across various platforms. Representing LGIC taught me to be more concise, confident, and impactful in every piece of writing I produce.
